Almond Cheese Spread Recipe

I have really been into making appetisers lately. I like to make just a small amount for the two of us for snacking, so this recipe is perfect. I think I found this in a Taste of Home magazine. I have so many recipes copied down I'm never sure where I got them!

Almond Cheese Spread

1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
2 T. mayonnaise
1 green onion, sliced
1 T. sliced almonds
1/8 tsp. onion powder

Mix and chill. Serve with crackers.

Simple, savory, nutty! Love it! Don't you just love stuff like this too because often (on busy nights) you can just snack on these and then dinner doesn't have to be a huge event.

Great!

This sounds so interesting, I've never heard of it before. But, it looks like it would be great on top of crackers. Just to let you know, I'll be holding a CSN giveaway on my blog next week Monday, so be sure to check back then for a chance to enter.

I like appetizers so much. Sometimes even more than the main course. All these little bowls with all sorts of tasty dips. I think yours belongs to this category as well.

Mmmmm, cheese, nuts, and mayo, oh yes! Love all cheese spreads, especially with nuts.

My sister makes this appetizer, but she adds crumbled bacon to it. You might try that if you'd like a twist :) I love it, it is addictive.
