Blueberry Galette

Oh.... this was good! I will be making this again and again.

You can find the recipe here.

It was really very easy to make. Much easier than a double crusted fruit pie. The crust was so tender and flaky, and the blueberry filling was sweet and juicy. {I used fresh berries} My only complaint was that it didn't last long! We devoured it.

I like my dessert just plain, nothing on top. Brent can't stand that. He thinks EVERY dessert needs either whipped cream or ice cream on top. I just prefer being able to taste the full flavor of the blueberries..nothing else!

Do you pick your blueberries in the wild woods of northern Minnesota? I know there are all kinds of blueberry bushes north of us near Lake Superior, but I have just five little bushes.

This is definitely on my to-make dessert list. The crust, well the whole thing!, looks fantastic.
