You can't go wrong with Blondies!

Who doesn't like Blondies?

I don't think anyone can go wrong bringing a pan of these to a gathering! Soft and gooey with all that brown sugar and chocolate. I love them most just out of the oven while they are still warm.

For these I just added chocolate chips...I didn't have any nuts on hand or I would have added them too.

Just looking at these pictures make me hungry for them all over again.

Maybe I need to go make another pan....

Blondies

7 Tbsp. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chocolate chips {or more..lots more)
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Melt the butter and let cool 5 minutes. Stir in the brown sugar. Add the vanilla and egg. Stir in the flour, salt and baking powder. Add the chocolate chips and nuts and pour into a 9" pan lined with (greased} foil. Bake 25 minutes at 350.

Oh please, stop! Those look way too tempting, and yes, I'd go for them right out of the oven too. Isn't it funny that those we pick at just out of the oven don't seem to have calories like the others that have been set out on a plate! ;-)

Your Blondies look so delicious. I can't wait to try the recipe. Most Blondies I've seen around are dry and flat looking.

I actually made these tonight. We had company over for dinner and I doubled the recipe and put it in a 9x13 for the same amount of time. They are delicious and very moist.
