This is one of my favorite spreads for toasted bagels. When I'm hungry for caramel rolls, this is a good quick fix.
The spread melts and leaves a nice, warm, tasty caramel layer. One bite leads to another....one bagel leads to two......you get the picture!
Cinnamon Bagel Spread
1/4 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Mix well and spread on toasted bagels.
