Cranberry pecan cheese balls

This is a fun appetizer..so simple to make and they look so pretty for the holidays. You can pop them in your mouth or spread them on crackers!

Pecan Crusted Cranberry Cheese Balls
{Deen Brothers}

8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
3 Tbsp. cream cheese, softened ( I used a bit more)
3 Tbsp. dried cranberries ( I used more)
2/3 c. finely chopped pecans

In a bowl, mix the cheddar, cream cheese, and dried cranberries together. Form into small balls and roll in pecans. Serve at room temperature. Makes 30.

They look delicious - and I'm sure you could use low fat cream cheese, and feel less guilty!!!

Those look wonderful! And I will make them with full-fat everything. I guess I'd rather have one REAL one than 10 artificial ones. At least it seems to me that when they take the fat out of things they replace it with more sugar - which I think is way worse. These are definitely going to be on our table this Christmas! :-)

Made these for Church Christmas Party. 3 T. cream cheese didn't seem to hold everything to gether so wound up using 3 oz.??? Were real tasty. Think next time I will chop cranberries up a bit, maybe in half.
