Taco Pasta



Everyday I go check out the Plain Chicken blog. She has the BEST recipes.

This time I tried her Taco Pasta. We really enjoyed this dish!


It does taste just like tacos!  It's a warm, flavorful, hearty dish..... just perfect for a cold winter night.

Yes, I said winter....it's snowing!


Taco Pasta
{Plain Chicken}

1 lb. ground beef
8 oz. pasta,cooked (reserve 1/2 c. pasta water}
1 small onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 packet taco seasoning
1 c. salsa
3 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. sour cream
shredded cheese for topping
tortilla chips for topping


Brown the beef and onion. Add the garlic.Mix in the salsa and taco seasoning and simmer 5 minutes.. Add the pasta, pasta water, sour cream, and cream cheese. Stir until cream cheese is melted and all is well blended. Top with cheese and crushed tortilla chips.
