Paula's Bacon Wrapped Chicken Bites

This is a great appetizer!  AND so easy, too.

I love trying out Paula's recipes and can honestly say I have never had a bad one. They are all wonderful.

The simple ingredients go so well together, are so tasty and are very addictive!

If you are not a fan of spice, I would cut back on the chili powder. Actually, I think just the chicken and bacon smothered with the brown sugar would be good too.

The recipe is below, but can also be found on Food Network.

Sweet Chicken Bacon Wraps

4 chicken breasts, cut into 1" cubes
1 lb. bacon
2/3 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. chili powder

Cut each bacon slice into thirds and wrap the chicken, secure with a toothpick. Mix the brown sugar and chili powder. Dredge the chicken  in the mixture and place on a greased broiler pan. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes until bacon is crispy.

I've been making these delicious chicken wraps for the last three years as part of our Christmas Eve appetizers. My family would stage a revolt if I didn't make them.
