Ham roll ups

I'm sure most of you have had this simple appetizer, but just in case you haven't I thought I'd include the recipe...they are just too easy and good not to share!

Ham roll ups

thin sliced ham
cream cheese, softened
dill pickles

Pat the dill pickles dry. Spread cream cheese on ham, put on pickle and roll up. Cut into slices.

  2. Can this be made with a different meat? I love the pickle/cream cheese combination, but I don't eat ham. I wasn't sure if you had tried it with another meat and it worked.

  4. I love this quick little appetizer treat!

I have a friend who mixes her cream cheese with like a Hidden Valley Ranch dressing package mix (the dry powder) to add flavor to it.

She also says that after making the roll up, they are easier to cut if you put them back in the fridge for awhile for the cream cheese to harden again before slicing.

    Great treat to share!

  8. You can use any meat you want. This may be a Minnesota thing but we use pastrami, corned beef, roast beef....etc.
