Swiss and Ham Sliders

This recipe is such a keeper.

It's a popular slider recipe, and there are so many variations of it. The one I use is pretty basic, easy and delicious. They do just melt in your mouth!.

The best thing about them is you can make them ahead of time, or freeze them. I like meals that taste great and are just ready when people walk in the door. Add a salad and dessert and that's it!

The first time I tried them was when we were invited over to a friends house not too long after we were married. I've been making them ever since.

My kids didn't like mustard, so I would make some without for them.{ But of course, I think that's the best part.}I would switch up with different kinds of cheese, whatever I had on hand. You can use any buns you like...I used King's Hawaiian for these.

Luckily I made a ton last time I served them, so I have some quick meals ready to go in my freezer!

Hot Ham and Swiss Sliders

 1/2 c. butter,softened
2 Tbsp. mustard
1 Tbsp. poppy seeds
1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp. minced onion

10-12 slices ham
10-12 slices Swiss cheese
10-12 slider buns

Combine and spread on buns, both the tops and the bottoms. Add the ham and cheese. Wrap in foil and bake at 350 for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
