Ham mac and cheese

This is one great combination....ham and cheesy macaroni! Next time I have leftover ham, I'll be making this again. I had little bits of several kinds of cheese leftover, too, that I used. I can't remember which kinds.

But actually, any cheese will do!

Ham mac and cheese

8 oz. pasta, cooked
1/4 c. butter
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. mustard
2 1/2 c. shredded cheese
4 oz. cooked ham
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Melt the butter and saute the garlic. Add the flour, salt, and pepper. Cook until smooth, stir constantly. Pour in the milk and bring to a boil, boil 1 minute. Stir in cheese and mustard, until melted. Remove from heat and stir in pasta. Pour in a greased baking dish, sprinkle with Parmesan and bake at 350 for 25 minutes.

It is really good with a couple of eggs beaten together with the milk and a handful of broccoli stirred in.
