Parmesan Tilapia

We really like tilapia with just some lemon pepper sprinkled on top and then baked. But I thought I would give this recipe a try for something different.
It actually is quite a bit like the recipe I use for chicken, so I thought it would taste good.

We liked the Parmesan  flavor, and the panko gave a  nice crispy coating. I would definitely make this again!

Parmesan Crusted Tilapia

 3 to 4 tilapia fillets
1/4 c. bread crumbs
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, shredded
1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp. pepper
olive oil

Mix the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic salt. Put the lemon juice in a bowl. Dip the fish in the lemon juice, then season with kosher salt and pepper. Dredge in the crumb mixture. Place in a greased baking dish and drizzle with olive oil.  Bake at 425 for 20 minutes.
