Kielbasa Pasta

I don't know how much more simple or easy a dish can get.... and yet have such awesome flavor!

This can easily be made and on your table in less than 30 minutes. I like to cook the sausage until it carmelizes a bit in the pan, to give the dish even more flavor. This looks rather plain, but the butter coats everything lightly and brings all the flavors together.

 Believe me, it's delicious!

Kielbasa Pasta

1 1/2 c. uncooked bow tie pasta
1 red pepper, sliced
1 yellow pepper, sliced
1 small onion, sliced
1 Tbsp. butter
1 fully cooked keilbasa link, cut int slices
salt and pepper to taste

Boil the pasta. Saute the peppers and onions in butter until crisp tender. Add the kielbasa and cook until heated through. Drain the pasta and add to mixture, toss to coat.

I do a similar version: cut up peppers, onions, and sausage and put in a glass cake pan. Add chopped garlic, drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, a little salt and pepper. Roast in 400 degree oven til vegs are browned (roasted). Serve over cooked pasta, and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. It's a family favorite - Sausage and Peppers!
