First of all let me say the new Fireworks Oreos are awesome! It reminds me of when I was a kid and loved to eat Pop Rocks. They are SO fun inside of an Oreo. Who comes up with this stuff? Great idea!
This bark is fun to eat too, and to make. Lots of interesting tastes and textures.
Perfect for celebrating the 4th!
Patriotic Oreo Bark
1 package Vanilla almond bark ( I use Ghirardelli white melting wafers)
3/4 c. Patriotic M & M's
8 patriotic Oreos, broken in pieces
red, white and blue candy sprinkles
Melt the wafers and pour onto a parchment lined cookie sheet. Spread to desired layer of thickness. Add the rest of the ingredients, pushing gently into the bark. Let set and break into pieces.
