Since I joined the group, "Baking with Dorie" a bit late..I'd like to try to bake all the recipes that I missed. Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins was one of them. You can find the recipe here or on page 10 in Dorie's book, Baking from My Home to Yours.
I love anything lemon so I knew I would like these. The lemon glaze really added a nice tang and also kept them very moist. Perfect for Sunday morning breakfast!
The look great! Lemon is a wonderful thing but this is over the top with all the poppy seeds! Just wish I had one now!
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my hubby's favorite muffins. I haven't make them in a long time. May have to give this a try.
ReplyDeleteLemon in cakes and muffins always make me smile. They look very fluffy.
ReplyDeleteThese look wonderful. I love lemon. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog.
ReplyDeleteIt looks and sounds wonderful! I love the way the cupcakes have no frosting (not the biggest fan of frosting)...and the dripping glaze is so pretty and the whole cupcake looks so enticing.
ReplyDeleteYum! I love lemon poppy seed cake and these look so moist and delicious.
ReplyDeleteI love this combination! So nice with tea!
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Am so glad you did a rewind post. These muffins were a huge hit with us and you've reminded me that I need to make them again!
