I love caramels. Especially homemade ones.
But.... I couldn't find my old recipe. So, I tried a new one that I found here at
sisters cafe. It was a good choice. They turned out wonderful. Soft and chewy, buttery and delicious, I think they're even better than my recipe!
I cut them into 1 inch squares and wrapped them in wax paper. I plan to give some as gifts. I found some cute little boxes I want to decorate and fill. Hopefully I'll get a chance to do that tomorrow afternoon!

ReplyDeleteWow they looks so decadent and tasty. Caramel is so big in Scotland, but ihave to admit I have never made any in my life. Maybe I should make it on my 'to do' list for next year. Kind wishes.
