Turtle Bar Recipe

One bite of these bars and you are hooked.

In fact it's just dangerous to make these. One is never enough. Not even two.

Pretty soon the whole pan is gone!

Beware!

Turtle bars

1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. softened butter
Mix together and spread in an ungreased 9x13 pan. Top with:

1 c. pecans, chopped

Set aside.

Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute:

2/3 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar

Pour over crust and bake at 350 for 18-22 minutes. Sprinkle on top while still warm:

1 c. chocolate chips

  3. If I made this, I think I'd have to find someone to give most of it to so I don't end up nibbling on the whole batch.
