Yep, this was good!
It's another Pinterest find that looked too good to pass up.
The recipe came from Big Red Kitchen. The only change I made was to add a few hand fulls of blueberries to the batter. Then it's poured into a pan and baked.
EZ.
I spread the squares with butter, dumped on some syrup and topped them with a few berries. The squares were moist and delicious. What an easy alternative to flipping pancakes! These would be perfect to serve for a crowd, too.
Pancake Squares
3/4 c. milk
2 Tbsp. melted butter
1 large egg
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
Mix the milk, butter, and egg. Add the sugar and gradually beat in the flour. Carefully stir in the baking powder and salt. Bake in a greased 8x8 pan at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
What a great idea! It looks wonderful, and I like your addition of the blueberries!! Lately my pancakes have been lacking in the pretty category, and I might just try this recipe out. Thanks for sharing. :)
