Sweet and salty smores

Ok, so these are REALLY quite good.
Simple, and VERY good.

I have not tried smores with a salty cracker before, just with the usual grahams, and all I have to say is..... why did I wait so long?

I saw the idea at pint sized treasures. She had put another cracker on top, but I thought they looked too cute to cover up, so I left them like this.

My only problem is that they are way to EZ to make. I've made them every day since I saw them....this needs to stop!

Cut the marshmallows in half. Place on cracker and broil until lightly browned.Remove from oven and  place kiss on top.

  1. I worked at a summer camp for MANY years (in college in the summer, and then full time). Needless to say, I am not a s'mores fan.

    BUT!

Here's another option for you...we called it Angels on Horseback (it was in an old camp cookbook, so not sure way it was called that). But it is similar to this:

    Two saltines
    Schmear of Peanut Butter
    Roasted Marshmallow in between
(officially....no chocolate, but that is good with it too)
