  3. I am going to try this yummy recipe, but was wondering how many people it will feed? I need to feed around 10 people.

  4. I'm not sure how many this feeds..I'm guessing 6 breasts shredded would fill 12 buns. I will check next time I make it!

  12. I guess it depends on how much you put on each bun. It serves about 8.

  13. Do you put your chicken breasts in thawed or frozen?

  14. Do you use a specific vinegar or just any white?

  15. Did you used boneless breasts or bone-in?

  16. Adding water will water down your sauce. If you use frozen chicken it will also water down your sauce and take longer to cook.

Boneless chicken breasts will be less work in the long run.

My rule of thumb is one chicken breast per adult, in terms of serving size.

  18. If I’m doing half the amount )2chicken breast’s) should I still heat on low for the 4-6 hours?

  19. Delish! Used Hickory and Brown Sugar BBQ sauce, so reduced sugar to 1/4 cup. Used Apple Cider Vinegar and added onions. Tossed in the chicken breasts frozen and cooked on low for 6 hours.

  20. I try so many Pinterest recipes that are disappointing. This is NOT one of them. Absolutely the easiest, most delicious barbecue chicken ever. I did shred it for sandwiches but the breasts could easily be served whole with sides as a meal. I followed the recipe exactly as written - no subs or changes- and it was perfect.

  21. This was extremely hot. As in picante hot. I was worried about the teaspoon of pepper flakes but since there were so many positive comments I went ahead and followed the recipe. We couldn't eat it.

    1. I never put in any red pepper flakes and it's still delicious

    2. Dramatic much? One tsp of red pepper flakes wouldn’t make it too hot, it just adds flavor.

    3. Good to know. I’m making these tomorrow for a pool party crowd and was hesitant about the pepper flakes out. I think I’ll leave them out. Thanks!

  23. It’s good! Scale back on the red pepper though if you don’t like spicy!!

  24. Been making this for many years now. It's so easy and delicious. Made for a sibling reunion in NC...I took a nap to wake up and no chicken or shredded chicken left. Just the dirty slow cooker.
