Sugar Pecans
I lost my recipe for sugar pecans! I looked all over for it...I have no idea what happened to it. But I wasn't going to let that stop me, so I found this recipe instead. I chose it because it's so simple..and ready in only 30 minutes.
They are so good, I can't stop eating them!
I think I'll be making these for Christmas gifts. They would be fun to package up, and I know everyone would like them.
Sugar Pecans
1 Tbsp. egg white
1/4 c. sugar
2 c. pecan halves
1-2 tsp. cinnamon
Beat the egg white until foamy and add the pecans. Stir until coated. In a separate bowel, stir together the cinnamon and sugar. Pour onto pecans and stir well. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet at 300 for 30 minutes. Cool on waxed paper.

As soon as I saw this in my reader, I immediately can on over! I love pecans, and I'm always on the lookout for a new recipe. Delicious, Laurie!
Mmmmm, my sister does nuts like this every year and gifts them - great idea!
This is such a great treat and so easy to make. I bet that when you start you cannot stop until you finish them all.
that sounds easy enough! i cant wait to try it!
People would definitely enjoy these. I think they'd even be great chopped up and sprinkled over a cake or added into cookies for a sweet crunch.
Wish I were on your Christmas Present List!!!!!
