This is another one of those simple recipes I used to make when I was a kid...it's straight from the Betty Crocker cookbook for boys and girls.
My mom was always trying to get us to eat breakfast, and she would make just about anything we wanted every morning..pancakes, eggs, whatever! But we just weren't interested. It was usually a glass of juice on the way out the door.
That all changed when I started getting interested in cooking, and found a few recipes I liked to make. This was one of them, a quick and delicious spread for toast.
It's so fresh, sweet and delicious slathered on some warm toast. Makes you feel like summer is right around the corner! It's a real treat!
Orange Sugar Spread
1 Tbsp. soft butter
3 Tbsp. powdered sugar
1 tsp. orange zest
1 tsp. orange juice
Mix well and spread on warm toast.
Oh! This sounds so dang good!!! I am definitely going to have to try this out.
