I don't know why this is called a salad...it really is more like a dessert! So I decided to serve it in dessert cups. It's rich, chunky, and creamy. And sweet. After all, it has Snicker bars in it. But Snicker Bar Salad is the name it was given and that's what we always call it. I started making it when the kids were in high school, I think I got the recipe from a friend, and have been making it for them ever since. I use buttermilk instead of milk, I like the tang of it, and of course.... I add more Snicker bars!
Snicker Bar Salad
2-3 apples, chopped
2-4 Snicker Bars, chopped
1 small package vanilla instant pudding
1 8oz. tub cool whip, thawed
1 c. milk
Combine the pudding and milk. Fold in the cool whip. Add the apples and snickers. Serve!
