Parmesan and Ham Appetizers



Instead of using this for an appetizer, we had a nice crusty chunk with some soup. I love Parmesan cheese so when I saw this recipe I knew I would like it!

This freezes really well...so we have another meal or two waiting for a cold nite....which could be soon! Brrrr!




Parmesan Ham Appetizers

1    8 oz. carton whipped cream cheese
1 c. shredded Parmesan cheese
1/4 lb. deli ham, chopped fine
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 unsliced loaf {1 pound} Italian bread

Mix until well blended. Cut the loaf lengthwise and spread mixture on top. Broil 3-5 minutes until lightly browned.

Yum! A perfect rainy day Friday sort of meal - I call this a meal for sure!!!!

Should this be frozen before or after broiling?
