Grandma Anne's Rhubarb Crisp

This is a family favorite recipe on my hubby's side of the family. It's a must for Memorial Day and 4th of July family gatherings, but I make it all summer long,too. Brent's grandma was a great cook and this was one of her specialties...I think of her every time I make this!

Rhubarb Crisp

6 c. chopped rhubarb
2 c. sugar
6 Tbsp. flour
Mix and pour into a 9x13 glass pan.

1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening {I use all butter}
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. oat meal
Mix and crumble on top of rhubarb. Bake at 375 until rhubarb is tender and the topping is golden brown.
