5 Minute Microwave Stuffed Apple
This dessert is perfect for just one person. It's so warm and comforting.
I love apples..and especially baked apples.
The apple gets very tender and oh-so-sweet with the brown sugar and cinnamon sauce it sits in. Topped with ice cream, it's so delicious!
Stuffed Apple
(Taste of Home)
1 gala or braeborn apple, peeled and core removed { I put part of the bottom of the core back in so the stuffing wouldn't come out while cooking}
1 Tbsp. butter
1Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 Tbsp. quick oats
1 tsp. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 c. apple juice
Mix the butter, brown sugar, oats, salt, cinnamon, and flour. Stuff inside the apple.Sprinkle with some cinnamon and sugar. Place in a microwave safe bowl with the apple juice. Microwave on high until soft, about 5 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream.

Oh my goodness, that looks wonderful! A nice 'company' dessert. :-)
Oh, I love this idea, I gotta try this one. I have always loved baked apples, but microwavable for one, will be my personal treat this week!
Blessings,
Susie
I just love this easy, fast and delicious apple and the ice cream makes it even more tempting!
Wow, what a great way to prepare the stuffed apple...fast and tasty. Love it with the scoop of ice cream
Have a great week Laurie :-)
I'm not sure I've ever had a baked apple. I love apple pie so I'm sure I'd love this too :)
What a great idea! This looks to die for. I've never thought of cooking an apple in the microwave. Sounds easy and delicious.
