Breakfast Hashbrowns



Here's a simple way to spice up some frozen hash browns and it only takes minutes to prepare. We like the kick from the jalapeno peppers!

 Breakfast Hash browns

1/4 c. onion, chopped
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 Tbsp. olive oil
3 c. frozen shredded hash browns
1 small tomato, chopped
1/2 jalapeno pepper, chopped fine
1/4 tsp. seasoned salt
dash pepper
1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Saute the onion and green peppers in olive oil until tender. Add the hash browns, cover and cook about 10 minutes until hash browns are browned. S tir in the tomatoes,cheese,  seasoned salt and pepper. Cook until cheese in melted. Sprinkle with more cheese and serve.

and it makes such a nice presentation! Sounds delicious. We love jalapeno around here, so we're all for that addition. :-)

Yummy, I love fresh Jalapenos. Cooked up with potatoes sounds so yummy!
