Vanilla Ice Cream French Toast


I usually always have vanilla ice cream in the freezer. Brent likes a scoop on almost all the desserts I make and I like having it on hand for recipes like this one.

Only 4 ingredients and some bread and you've got some delicious golden french toast. I love that vanilla aroma as it's cooking!




Vanilla Ice Cream French Toast

1/2 c. melted vanilla ice cream
2 eggs
1/8 c. orange juice
1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
8 slices of French bread

Mix the ice cream, egg, orange juice, and vanilla. Dip slices of bread in mixture and fry in butter until browned on both sides.

I am from Northern Minnesota also and now living in a much warmer climate. When I saw this, I thought of home "Minnesota". We always had the best comfort foods. If I wasn't on a low carb eating plan I would eat them but can only enjoy your pictures.

They tasted very good here in Norway too!
