Chocolate Mint Fudge....12 weeks of Christmas
This is such a pretty, festive candy!
It's very rich and full of peppermint flavor. It tastes just like Christmas. I like a small piece after a meal, like an after dinner mint.
Actually it's the perfect ending to a big Holiday meal!
Chocolate Mint Fudge
2 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 c. powdered sugar
3 tbsp. baking cocoa
1 tsp. milk ( I added a bit more)
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. chopped nuts
Line a bottom and sides of a 8x4 in. loaf pan with foil. Grease the foil with 1 1/2. tsp. butter.
Beat the cream cheese, until creamy. Gradually beat in the powdered sugar, cocoa, milk, and vanilla. Stir in the nuts. Spread into prepared pan and refrigerate 1 hour.
Peppermint layer:
2 oz. cream cheese
2 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 tsp. milk
1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
1/4 c. crushed peppermint candy
Beat the cream cheese until creamy. Gradually beat in the powdered sugar, milk, and extract until smooth. Stir in the peppermint candy. Spread evenly onto chocolate layer. Chill until firm. Cut into squares.

Oh good grief. Just when my scale read 1.5 pounds higher than the last time I stepped on. :-((( But of course I pinned the recipe because they look scrumptious!
This does sound pretty awesome! I've never made fudge, but I like this method. Looks great!
I tried making fudge once, and it turned out way too granular, but it was my first time making it. This looks like a fudge recipe I can handle though! :)
These little fudge squares look wonderful. I bet you have everyone coming back for more.
