Alton Brown's Mini Man Burgers

These were really tasty!

I'll warn you though, they were a bit salty. In fact next time I make them I will cut down to 1/4 tsp. each instead of the 1/2.

But the simple combo was delicious!

1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1 lb. burger
8 (3") rolls
2-3 Tbsp. mayo

Preheat the oven to 250.

Combine the onion powder, garlic powder, pepper, and salt in a small bowl. Set aside.

Line a jellyroll or sheet pan with parchment paper, and place the burger in the middle of the pan. Cover the meat with a large sheet of plastic wrap. Roll meat with a rolling pin until it covers the surface of the pan, very thin. Sprinkle the meat with the seasoning. Fold the meat in half, using the parchment paper. Cut the meat into 8 squares.

Wrap the buns in foil and place in the oven for 5 to 10 minutes. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side.

Spread a small amount of mayo on each bun, top with burger.
