Magic cookie bars...I wonder how many times I have made these over the years!
They are definitely a classic.
And honestly, they really are a favorite everywhere you take them. I made a batch for a bake sale, and then decided to make a batch to freeze for the Christmas goodie tray.
I think they will be the first to go!
Magic Cookie Bars
1 1/2 c. graham crackers, crushed
1/2 c. butter, melted ( I use less)
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 c. chocolate chips
1 1/2 c. shredded coconut
1 c. chopped walnuts
Mix the melted butter and graham cracker crumbs. Press into a greased 9 x 13 glass pan. Pour the sweetened condensed milk on top. Sprinkle on chocolate chips, coconut, and nuts. Gently press down. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes.

These look identical to what my Mom always called "Hello Dolly" squares, she always iced them, just to make them a bit more rich. Hah!! I do the same!!
