Crock Pot Sweet and Smoky Pulled Pork...pinned it and tried it

The smell of this is incredible!

Brent walked in and said,"Smells like Famous Dave's in here."

He was right, it did!

It tasted even better than it smelled, if that's possible. That rub has just the right mixture of spices. The pork just fell apart, so tender and moist, you could eat it by the spoonful. Which Brent did!
We didn't put anything else on top of it, just spooned it onto the buns. I WAS thinking of serving it with BBQ sauce on top, but it was just too good to cover it up!

So VERY glad I pinned this 2 ingredient simple recipe!

Crock Pot Sweet and Smoky Pulled Pork

4-6 lb. pork roast
Grill mates Sweet and Smoky Rub

Spray the crock pot with nonstick spray. Rub the roast all over with the rub. Sprinkle some rub on the bottom of the crock pot.  Set the roast in the crock pot. Cook low 8 hours, or high 6 hours. Shred and serve on buns.

My crock pot took about 6 hours on low. I did add a bit of water. When it was done, I used a fork to shred it into large chunks, and let it fall apart into the juice.
You can serve with BBQ sauce and coleslaw on top, but we ate it the way it was...it was too good to put anything on top!

Thanks! And thanks for stopping in today. Even when I finally take down the Christmas tree from the porch, I'll keep little white lights strung up in the living room. They just help. :-)
