I made just half a recipe of this peach crisp last weekend, and it sure didn't last long. We couldn't leave it alone. We were down to fighting over the last piece, but I gave in...Brent had spent the day doing so many chores, he deserved it. He got the dock in, raked the yard and beach, just to name a few.
I used canned peaches instead of fresh, which made it super easy and simple to throw together. I wasn't sure if we would like it as well, since we are used to it with fresh peaches. But honestly, it was just as delicious.
Now I don't have to wait till peaches are in season to make this recipe...which is one of our favorites!
Peach Crisp
4 1/2 c. fresh or canned sliced peaches
2 -3 Tbsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Place the peaches in a greased 9 x 13 pan. Mix the sugar, flour and cinnamon. Pour on top and stir.
Mix until crumbly:
1 c. flour
1 c. oats
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. cold butter
Crumble on top of peach mixture and bake at 350 for 45 min. until golden brown.
