This is my hands down favorite pie EVER. I could eat it morning, noon and night. I probably have. It doesn't last long and I think I'm the reason why.
It's the combo of chocolate and buttery pecans...I can't leave it alone. It's a dangerous recipe for me, but I was in a dangerous mood and made one.
And yes, it's gone already, every crumb.
Here's a piece while it was still warm...I threw a scoop of ice cream on top, too. What can I say....I was in a really dangerous mood!
3 eggs
1 c. lite corn syrup
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecan halves
3/4 c. chocolate chips
1 single pie crust
Mix all together and pour into pie crust. Bake at 350 for 50-55 minutes until done.

I'm in total agreement with you - this is a dangerous pie! Sounds like it might be my new favorite dessert, can't wait to make this one!!
Looks absolutely delicious. I would so love to try some. We don't get much pecan pie in Australia!
E Gads! That looks so amazing! i love the flavor combination! thanks for sharing!
I was thinking of making a toasted pecan pie for my blog sometime before Thanksgiving, but after seeing this recipe, I think I will try it. I've never made pecan pie with chocolate, and based on how much you like it, I guess I should!
Thanks for sharing! I recently found your blog and love your recipes!
Okay, so I finally made this pie! It was scrumptious! I made it to celebrate my son's birthday (who also loved it) and shared it on my blog. Just wanted you to know, we really enjoyed it!
