This is a good combo....broccoli, almonds and cranberries. I usually make the recipe that has raisins, bacon and sunflower seeds, but once in awhile I switch it up and use this recipe. We like the bit of tang from the yogurt in the dressing, too.
I make lots of salads year round, but like everyone else, I tend to make even more during the summer!
Have a fun day!
Place in a bowl:
3 c. broccoli, chopped
1/4 c. dried cranberries or cherries
1/8 c. red onion, chopped
Mix well:
1/4 c. plus 1/8 c. mayo
1/4 c. plus 1/8 c. plain yogurt(or sour cream)
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. cider vinegar
salt and pepper to taste
Top with:
1/4 c. sliced almonds
Stir into the salad and refrigerate until serving. Sprinkle almonds on top before serving. Serves 4.

Sounds really good with the yogurt. I made a very similar recipe for this today. It didn't have yogurt, but that sounds great!
